GENERAL INFORMATION
Hotel Zagreb is located in a pine forest, only a ten-minute walk from the picturesque Roman centre of Poreč. Due to the proximity of the town, the beach, the hotel pool and terrace for dancing, we recommend a stay at our hotel for those who wish to fully relax and enjoy themselves. We are proud that the much appreciated friendliness of our Hotel Zagreb staff is the reason why our guests feel so good and return so often - some have been visiting us for the last 20 years - summer in, summer out.

AREA INFORMATION
Poreč is a town of true hospitality and a rich tourist tradition. It is located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula and abounds with clean sea and beaches. The entire Poreč old town has been marked by the reigns of great cultures. A stroll down the centuries old streets leads to the square Marafor in which there was once a forum in ancient times.
The central Poreč street, Decumanus has been preserved from the time when Poreč was an ancient port. Along with the museums and galleries located in beautiful town palaces, you must visit the Euphrasian Basilica. A glittering mosaic which covers the inside and facade of the church is one of the most beautiful preserved works of Byzantine art.
A concrete, paved beach providing natural shade can be found 130 metres from the hotel. Deck chairs and sun shades can be rented.
FOOD&BEVERAGE
We believe that everyone will find their favourite food in our modern hotel restaurant, where we offer you a rich buffet breakfast and dinner.
You can refresh yourself with a drink even while sun tanning poolside. However, if you wish to try something truly special, we recommend the Istarska supa (Istrian soup). This original Istrian delicacy, made from red wine and refried bread, sweetened and lightly flavoured with olive oil and pepper, is prepared in an earthen jug called the “bukaleta”, and can be tried in some of the local taverns.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Payment is made at the hotel reception in HRK based on the current exchange rate on the day of payment.
