Zum goldenen Kreuz (At golden Cross) is a sign which was put up at the front of a newly built hotel back in 1889. That hotel became what we know today as Hotel Central. Osijek's Hotel Central has had its prominent position at Ante Starčević Square for over a century. The coffee house is one of a few coffee houses which embodies the true spirit of Vienna coffee houses. The hotel provides a safe car park for its guests with 20 parking spaces.
