Villa Town Gate - Hvar

The small, family-run Villa Town Gate is situated in historic Hvar, 20 meters from the main square, at the main gate in the ancient city walls and offers you charming rooms and apartments. The 15th-century city walls enclose the old part of the town, which can be accessed through 4 gates. Villa Town Gate is located at Porta Maestra, the main gate, on the road leading from the square to the aristocratic part of the city and towards the fortress. If you want to be right in the heart of the city life and experience authentic Hvar atmosphere, then Villa Town Gate is the right place for you!

Our Villa is located in the old part of the city, in the centre of Hvar town. Everything is close by: beaches, restaurants, shops, museums.

Hvar is the sunniest, most popular and the island with the most guests in the Croatian Adriatic Sea. Hvar has been elected as one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world (by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine, November 2006). The most beautiful place on the island is certainly Hvar town. Hvar town is situated in a picturesque natural setting, facing the south, the sun and the sea. Many people say Hvar town is a town like from a fairy-tale because of its architecture, the wonderful nature and its mild climate. During the day you can easily reach every beach, and when the sun comes down you can enjoy Hvar by night: beach parties, restaurants, cocktail bars, concerts are all very close to you.

You can reach us within 2 minutes from the port of Hvar. Just go to the town square and look for the old town gate connecting the square to the fortress.
