Hotel Icici - Ičići

The Hotel Ičići is located in a beautiful cove between Opatija and the Ičići ACI marina. The pebble beach is ideal for children’s first swimming attempts, which makes the hotel a favorite of families with small children. Its position half-way along the Lungomare coastal promenade is also ideal for long strolls towards Lovran and Volosko.

Situated just outside of Opatija, Ičići is a well known nautical centre with a large beach which flies the “Blue Flag”. In addition to swimming and sunbathing a number of sports and recreation activities are available. Try beach volleyball, sailing, waterskiing, parasailing, diving and tennis. Take a walk down the beautiful Lungomare promenade or go hiking. Don’t forget to experience the night life in nearby Opatija. In the very centre of the town is the ACI Marina with about 300 sea berths and 40 land berths, and offers a complete range of nautical services. The marina has also been granted the “Blue Flag” for its high ecological standards.

AP RIJEKA – Island Krk, Omišalj – bridge Krčki most (a toll payment required) – via Rijeka - pass Kraljevica - take the new Kvarner motorroad above Bakar A7 (Sv.Kuzam) – direction Pula (HR), Ljubljana (SLO) or Trieste (I). After app. 17 km and 200 m after the OMV petrol station, turn right (direction Pula/Opatija). At the crossroad and traffic lights turn left (direction Opatija) after which follow the road signs toward Opatija. Continue driving to Icici. The hotel is situated on the left side of the main road. AP PULA – via Rijeka – by a semi-motorway A9 and A8 (the Istrian epsilon) which includes the Ucka Tunnel (5 km-a toll payment required). At the crossroad and traffic lights turn right (direction Opatija) after which follow the road signs toward Opatija. Continue driving to Icici. The hotel is situated on the left side of the main road. Driving from the direction of ZAGREB (also BUDAPEST, GRAZ) : Take the motor road A1 (a toll payment required) – direction Rijeka. At Bosiljevo continue with motor road A6 to Rijeka (a toll payment required). At Rijeka continue by the Kvarner motor road A7 - direction Pula (HR), Ljubljana (SLO) or Trieste (I). After app.8 km and 200 m after the OMV petrol station, turn right (direction Pula/Opatija). At the crossroad and traffic lights turn left (direction Opatija) after which follow the road signs toward Opatija. Continue driving to Icici. The hotel is situated on the left side of the main road. Driving from the direction of LJUBLJANA (also VIENNA, GRAZ, SALZBURG, MÜNCHEN): Take E70 towards RIJEKA – via POSTOJNA (a toll payment required). At Postojna, turn left (direction Croatia – Rijeka). Entry in Croatia (Rupa). Enter the motor road A7 (a toll payment required) – via Rijeka. After app 8 km turn right towards Opatija. At the crossroad and traffic lights turn left (direction Opatija) after which follow the road signs toward Opatija and Lovran. Continue driving to Icici. The hotel is situated on the left side of the main road. Driving from the direction of TRIESTE (Italy): Take E61 – direction Slovenia/Kozina. Entry into Slovenia (Kozina). Continue by E61. Entry into Croatia (Pasjak). Continue in direction of Rijeka/Opatija. Enter A7 (a toll payment required) – via Rijeka. After app 8 km turn right towards Opatija. At the crossroad and traffic lights turn left (direction Opatija) after which follow the road signs toward Opatija and Lovran. Continue driving to Icici. The hotel is situated on the left side of the main road.

The hotel has a pension and an a la carte restaurant, as well as an apertif bar, Buffet breakfast: 07:00-10:00. Dinner: 19:00-21:00 (choose between 3 menus). Room service: 07:00-22:00.
