The White House - Drežnik Grad

Our small family house has light and homely rooms with double award-winning balcony and terrace flower arrangements and undisturbed views of lush green fields, trees and hills. The local acknowledgment we have received just goes to show our commitment to pleasant surroundings in this beautifully peaceful spot. Our family rooms are cosy and yet practical: light wooden floors and furniture; white walls and linen bring an air of relaxing simplicity. Once you’ve settled in, you can explore the area at your own leisure. We’re just 7 km from Plitvice Lakes where you can swim and fish or simply walk; take time over your journey by bike or on horseback. When you get back, you can enjoy the warm evening sun by the barbecue before getting a well-earned, and silent, night’s sleep.

Irinovac, and the surrounding countryside, has lots of opportunity for activity and excitement such as white water rafting and horse riding. Or, if you just want to relax, swimming in the River Korana or enjoying the excellent restaurants serving local food will be just the thing for you. National Park Plitvice Lakes is a place of heavenly beauty. 16 lakes in total are connected by waterfalls of all shapes and sizes. You can see most of the lakes on foot, along wooden bridges and footpaths; and by electric boat across the biggest lake. The forests are one of the most preserved in Croatia, being habitat to bears and wolves (large animals can not be met while walking the lakes). Caves, rich animal life and vegetation make Plitvice Lakes such an exciting place to visit, any time of the year.

Zadar is 150 km away. Before reaching us, you pass through Gračac, Korenica and Plitvice. From Zadar: - Take the Gornja Ploča exit from the A1 motorway. - After 60 km along the main road passing by Udbina, Korenica, Plitvice and Grabovac, you arrive at the crossroads at Grabovac from the south. - Turn right, and drive for 1200 metres. - The White House is on the right hand side of the road, opposite restaurant Sedra. - On the D1 state road in the direction of Zagreb - Karlovac - Slunj - Rakovica - Grabovac, turn left in Grabovac and drive for 1200 meters. - Our house is on the right hand side of the road, opposite restaurant Sedra.
